Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the OpEx fabrication team and regional development programs
- Coordinate cross-plant collaboration to support operational excellence initiatives
- Develop and maintain training materials, process specs, and equipment guidelines
- Monitor KPIs and report outcomes to management
- Ensure compliance with Hydro Quality System, HSE regulations, and SOPs
- Oversee best-practice development for safety, efficiency, quality, and environmental impact
- Foster knowledge transfer and continuous improvement culture across Extrusion Europe
- Engage with other Business Units and Hydro Extrusion experts for alignment
Key requirements
- 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing, metals, or industrial environments with international, cross-functional teams
- 5+ years in operational excellence, ideally in fabrication technologies across geographies
- Hands-on experience with continuous improvement methodologies and successful multi-site projects
- Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related technical field
- MBA or Master’s degree considered an asset
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Process optimization, operational excellence (Lean, Six Sigma), KPI management
