In this role you oversee the El Paso production warehouse, guiding a large team to ensure reliable, on-time shipments to a broad customer base. You will coordinate inbound and outbound activity across multiple plants, drive continuous improvements, and maintain compliance and safety standards. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and key automotive customers to safeguard inventory availability and delivery performance. This is a hands-on leadership position with a clear impact on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Oversee production warehouse operations and shipment accuracy for ~140 associates
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the delivery team
- Monitor orders, build reports, and ensure on-time delivery
- Manage receiving/shipping documents, cycle counts, and bid/financial reporting (P&L, GL)
- Coordinate inventory levels with customer demand across 12 plants
- Lead safety audits, MSDS/OSHA compliance
- Issue 8D reports and drive root cause analysis with countermeasures
- Communicate with customers, plants, and staff to ensure timely production and inventory availability
- Support physical inventory activities and supplier performance review
- Develop procedures, flow charts, and metrics reporting for management
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 10 years' experience in production and warehouse operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience in automotive supply chain and import, with FCA and Ford e-supplier portal familiarity
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving abilities
