As Manager Sales, you lead and develop a multi-level sales team to grow maintenance, insurance, and commercial business while retaining accounts. You work to achieve short- and long-term growth and retention goals, delivering Ryder’s value to customers and guiding marketing and competitive strategies. This 24–36 month developmental role prepares you for future DOS opportunities within a collaborative, performance-driven environment. You will shape processes, coach talent, and drive cross-functional initiatives with senior leadership.

Responsibilities
- Direct, manage and develop a multi-level sales force to grow and retain accounts
- Plan and lead activities to achieve growth and retention objectives
- Ensure delivery of Ryder's value proposition to customers and prospects
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing initiatives for the territory
- Lead processes and activities to retain and expand current customers
- Interface with customers and prospects to maximize opportunity development across Ryder products/services
- Monitor competitors and adapt strategy to protect growth
- Achieve growth and retention for new and replacement business
- Ensure alignment with Ryder initiatives to minimize lost business and exceed customer expectations
- Provide sales leadership and expertise for the assigned territory
- Assist in selecting, training, and developing high-caliber sales professionals
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Related field
