In this role, you will drive growth across the West Region by generating new business for CBIZ among middle-market and large enterprises. You’ll engage CEOs, CFOs and other financial leaders to uncover needs and position CBIZ’s accounting, tax, and advisory solutions. You will lead targeted sales campaigns, collaborate with client service and marketing, and build strong, consultative relationships. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build relationships with middle-market and large enterprises across targeted industries (construction, real estate, manufacturing & distribution, technology & life sciences)
  • Engage with top financial leaders (CEOs, CFOs, CROs, CAEs, CCOs, CISOs, CTOs, VP Tax) to understand needs and change drivers
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities via trusted relationships and enterprise sales programs
  • Collaborate with Client Service and Marketing Teams to design and execute industry-specific sales campaigns
  • Generate leads and win new business through a full range of CBIZ solutions
  • Conduct at least 20 sales appointments per month through various channels
  • Lead a team-based sales approach that articulates CBIZ’s value proposition and win strategy
  • Craft an annual sales plan and achieve set sales goals with Regional Director of Business Development
  • Plan and report sales activity using Salesforce CRM
  • Deliver business development skills training to colleagues and emerging professionals
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (Senior Managing Directors, Managing Directors, Practice Leaders, Industry Leaders, Marketing, Operations)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

  • Bachelor in Business Administration
  • Three+ years of direct sales experience
  • Industry knowledge in relevant sectors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
