In this role you lead the Enterprise AI/ML Center of Excellence, turning advanced machine learning ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions that drive measurable business impact. You design scalable ML architectures, own the full lifecycle of key enterprise workstreams, and partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical outcomes. You ensure governance, security, and production excellence while integrating AI and LLM capabilities into existing workflows. This role offers global scope and opportunities to shape next-generation ML at Colgate-Palmolive.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, modular ML architectures and define integration with data pipelines, inference services, and cloud infra (GCP)
Own end-to-end ML lifecycle for key enterprise workstreams, including planning, resource allocation, and delivery to production
Serve as primary technical liaison for Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, translating business problems into technical requirements
Oversee production transition of experimental models to robust services, ensuring MLOps, security, and reliability standards
Conduct design reviews and code audits to uphold software engineering best practices for ML
Architect and supervise deployment of ML use cases across multiple business workflows

Key requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
6+ years in Data Science or ML Engineering with at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory roles
Proven experience designing and deploying ML solutions across multiple business workflows
Expert-level Python (production-grade), SQL, and GCP; hands-on with Airflow and dbt
Strong understanding of MLOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD
Solid grasp of Bayesian methods, causal inference, and predictive modeling
Experience integrating Generative AI / LLMs into ML workflows
Data engineering expertise in ETL/ELT and templated data transformations
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization (preferred)
