Responsibilities
- Lead a polyglot team of 5-7 engineers and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable instrumentation across languages
- Drive adoption of runtime metrics and startup diagnostics as safe, valuable features enabled by default
- Shape strategy and execution for APM configuration management to be simple, observable, and extensible
- Contribute to OpenTelemetry ecosystem by aligning SDK infrastructure with industry standards
Key requirements
- Experience shipping software in multiple languages
- Proficiency in two or more languages and building cross-runtime systems
- Background in libraries/OSS development and observability tooling
- Strong focus on developer experience, clean APIs, and reliable systems
- Collaborative mindset with ability to translate product strategy to technical detail
- Experience with SDK or library development, observability tooling, OSS is a plus
