Responsibilities

Lead and develop accounting operations staff, fostering collaboration and efficiency
Oversee project administration, financial reporting, invoicing, and accounts payable
Leverage data and technology to enhance decision-making and team performance
Maintain robust financial controls aligned with objectives and SoD principles
Provide insights for financial performance improvement and process optimization
Initiate and oversee domain financial processes ensuring compliance and control
Drive timely reporting through process improvements and controls
Advise staff on risks, compliance issues, and process optimizations
Foster cross‑department collaboration to integrate domain policies and improve financial processes
Guide and mentor senior stakeholders and operations specialists
Balance control, compliance, and business needs across domains

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Experienced people manager in accounting
Strong analytical skills translating data into actionable insights
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across teams
Fluent in English & Dutch
