In this role you lead the Central Tracking UI SDK team in Barcelona, building a high-performance native UI layer that unifies tracking across the Delivery Hero ecosystem. You bridge mobile platforms and backend services, guiding architecture, API contracts, and SDK adoption across brands. You mentor a small team of mobile engineers, drive quality, and own tech metrics for SDK performance. This is an opportunity to shape cross-brand user experience and scalable, reliable mobile infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of native iOS and Android UI SDKs aligned with backend services
Design and govern API contracts between UI SDK and tracking infrastructure
Partner with product to define feasible, iterative technical solutions
Serve as bridge between central team and regional engineers for smooth SDK adoption
Mentor and develop a team of mobile engineers to high standards
Own DoD for the stack, ensure UI consistency and backend-to-client integration testing
Own tech metrics and KPIs for SDK performance, latency, and health across brands

Key requirements

Leadership experience: at least 1 year managing an engineering team
Mobile-first and backend-aware: strong iOS or Android knowledge with BFF understanding
API & documentation skills: experience reviewing RFCs and API contracts
Design system literacy: experience with scalable, themeable UI components
Practical prioritization: ability to focus on high-impact features and maintain code quality
English communication proficiency
Bonus: Flutter experience
