As Manager, Data Governance, you help ensure the health and quality of media data to support accurate reporting and actionable insights. You will enforce governance standards across regions, drive data quality initiatives, and enable scalable analytics through collaboration with cross-functional teams. You’ll balance global consistency with market nuances while identifying improvement opportunities and automating processes. This role sits in the Data & Analytics organization, shaping reliable data for better decision-making and business transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the global data governance operating model and ensure data quality for decision-making
  • Enforce data governance standards with global/regional leadership and socialize health metrics
  • Maintain naming conventions, taxonomies, platform input standards, and metadata requirements
  • Execute data health checks, variance analysis, root-cause analysis, and track data quality SLAs
  • Validate, optimize, and reconcile media and campaign data across markets and channels
  • Investigate data anomalies and coordinate timely resolutions with relevant teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional workflows across Media Strategy & Planning, Investment, Ad Ops, Audience, Creative, Measurement, Technology, and offshore teams
  • Translate business needs into governance controls and data processing rules; support BRDs/TRDs
  • Deliver governance training, create enablement materials, and monitor adherence to standards
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities; report data quality trends to leadership

Key requirements

  • 3+ years in an advertising agency or similar setting with analytics, business analysis, media operations, ad operations, or digital investment
  • Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality (naming conventions, taxonomies, platform standards)
  • Familiarity with multi-channel media and marketing data (digital, search, social, offline)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Proficiency in Excel; ability to create materials in PowerPoint or Keynote
