In this role you drive the planning, procurement, installation and lifecycle management of hospital equipment within Medtronic’s Integrated Health Solutions Turn-Key projects. You will collaborate with architects, customers and vendors to deliver state-of-the-art clinical spaces (CathLabs, ORs, ICUs) and ensure high-quality patient care. You’ll support business development and manage complex projects from assessment through maintenance, balancing quality, time and budget. This is a mission-driven role at a global health tech leader focusing on transformational healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and oversee equipment projects from assessment to ongoing maintenance within Turn-Key initiatives
- Collaborate with commercial teams, hospital stakeholders and vendors to optimize equipment planning and support tenders/proposals
- Conduct site audits and develop equipment strategies, maintenance plans and SLAs while identifying risks and improvement opportunities
- Oversee procurement, installation, testing and training for equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Manage preventive/corrective maintenance, asset management and service performance reporting across EMEA
- Support end-of-life management, disposal or re-marketing of equipment
- Maintain high professional standards and client service throughout project execution
Key requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years in hospital equipment planning, procurement, installation and maintenance (CathLabs/OR experience required)
- Experience in turnkey hospital projects and lifecycle management of capital equipment
- Project management experience with budget, scope, schedule and resources
- Strong project, client and vendor management skills
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills; multicultural sensitivity
- Software: MS Office, MS Project
- Independent, self-starter with strong customer focus
- Business level German and English; additional languages a plus
