In this role, you will lead maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability in a Medtech manufacturing setting. You will mentor technicians, drive continuous improvement, and own maintenance-focused projects aligned with operational excellence. The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, RCA/eFMEA, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce downtime and extend asset life. This is a hands-on position at our Lausanne facility, offering meaningful impact on production reliability and patient care.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and uptime
Maintain records of equipment manufacturers’ notices, upgrades, safety information, and reliability data
Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Develop and implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs to increase uptime and reduce downtime
Establish standardized troubleshooting methodologies to reduce MTTR
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency
Provide SME-level support to maintenance technicians and process engineering teams
Define and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance schedules based on reliability data
Lead/eFMEA, RCA, and corrective action processes for equipment-related incidents
Track, analyze, and report KPIs related to equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness
Support equipment selection and evaluation for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency

Key requirements

At least 2 years of experience in maintenance engineering tied to mechanical automation
Manufacturing production experience in Medtech, automotive or chemical
Fluency in French and English
Independent mindset and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
