Responsibilities
- Review new, renewed, and increased loan documents to ensure alignment with approved structures
- Determine waiver actions before loan funding when documentation gaps exist
- Monitor existing and time-sensitive documents using the loan documentation unit’s system
- Review trailing documentation for proper execution and recording as appropriate
- Report deficiency status to account officers and management using system reports
- Interact with legal and account officers to clarify unfamiliar or questionable documentation
- Audit selected existing loans for compliance with bank and legal guidelines
- Prepare summary audit reports for division and senior management
- Develop and recommend new procedures and operational controls to protect loan documentation and customer information
Key requirements
- Knowledge of personal and commercial loan documentation
- Experience with commercial banking systems to extract information from various systems
- Analytical and computer skills to analyze documentation and generate reports
- 2 years loan documentation or related experience
- Work authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
