Experteer Overview
In this role you will support a fast-paced litigation practice by assisting across the lifecycle of cases, from development to resolution. You will work with seasoned attorneys on a diverse caseload, conducting research, drafting pleadings, and helping with trial preparation. The position offers hands-on exposure to all phases of the legal process and collaboration with a supportive team. This is an opportunity to build a solid foundation in litigation within a respected firm and develop essential legal and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of litigation from case development through resolution
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on a variety of issues
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs
- Participate in discovery processes including document review and preparation of responses
- Attend depositions, hearings, and court proceedings alongside senior attorneys
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case matters
- Organize and maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Support trial preparation including preparation of exhibits, witness materials, and case summaries
- Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
Key requirements
- Juris Doctor degree and active admission to the state bar
- At least one year of litigation experience in a law firm or similar environment
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
