Responsibilities
- Represent clients in securities class action litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on securities law and regulations
- Analyze and evaluate potential class action cases, including investigations and evidence evaluation
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as needed
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to securities law
Key requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to waive in
- 2-5+ years of litigation experience with a focus on securities law
- Strong understanding of class action procedures and fiduciary duty concepts
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with corporate fraud cases is a plus
