Responsibilities
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to support litigation
- Represent clients in court and other proceedings
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
- Prepare for trials with organized evidence and exhibits
- Manage discovery including document collection and review
- Write detailed briefs and submissions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Ensure compliance with regulations and legal standards
- Handle court filings and case timelines
- Assist in depositions, mediation, and arbitration
- Stay updated on civil procedure and Lemon Law developments
Key requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to CA state bar in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with civil procedure and trial preparation
- Knowledge of discovery processes and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
