In this role you will convert bioanalytical assay workflows into robust, automated robot routines to boost throughput and reliability. You work closely with R&D and the bioanalytical lab to implement, document, and support liquid handling methods. You will program Hamilton robots using VENUS and EVOware, monitor performance, and help maintain compliant, high-throughput workflows. This position sits at the interface of automation and bioanalysis, offering an opportunity to shape Celerion’s automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

Program Hamilton liquid-handling robots using VENUS and EVOware to support automated workflows
Translate assay workflows into robust robotic routines and verify their performance
Assess robot performance regularly and optimize throughput and reliability
Balance development work with day-to-day operational support in a regulated lab environment
Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of automation capabilities

Key requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life-science discipline
Solid understanding of immunoassays and/or chromatographic methods
At least 1 year hands-on experience programming Hamilton VENUS method programming for automated workflows in a regulated lab
Good written and spoken German is beneficial
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
Able to balance development work with operational support
Experience with programming languages such as Python, VB or SQL is beneficial but not required
