In this role you will engineer and maintain large Enterprise Linux environments within a Windows/RHEL hybrid setup. You will work across security enclaves to ensure stable, scalable infrastructure and provide remote support to Tier 2/3 teams. You’ll design and implement solutions using FOSS, COTS, or GOTS to meet customer needs while continuously improving incident response. This position offers hands-on impact on mission-critical systems and opportunities to collaborate on cross-functional projects. You will partner with security and operations teams to uphold DoD standards and telemetry-driven operations.

Responsibilities

Manage physical and VDI Linux workstations and servers
Design and implement solutions using FOSS, COTS, or GOTS to meet customer requirements
Troubleshoot Linux-based applications and incidents, providing short- and long-term resolutions
Provide remote end-user support and train dispersed Tier 2/3 teammates
Communicate effectively with diverse teams and participate in special projects as needed

Key requirements

2+ years of Linux experience
DoD IA certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) with six-month CE training requirement
Currently TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Experience with Kerberos, AD, DNS/DHCP/LDAP, and Ansible or Satellite a plus
