In this role, you will manage daily operations of the assisted living facility to deliver high-quality programs and services that support residents’ independence and well-being. You will align operations with Monarch Healthcare Management’s mission, regulatory expectations, and community needs. You will coordinate clinical and support services, lead a large staff, and drive continuous improvement across systems, programs, and resident experiences. Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate systems, programs, and services for a diverse resident population and facility goals
- Respond to residents, families, and guests; assess and address needs and preferences
- Collaborate with CNS to support resident independence and quality of life
- Plan and coordinate activities, events, and educational opportunities
- Network with community agencies and service providers
- Coordinate emergency and disaster plans with staff and providers
- Maintain staffing levels per CNS, oversee staff training and performance reviews
- Recruit, train, supervise, and develop on-site staff; update job descriptions
- Manage budgets, expenditures, revenue sources, and capital planning
- Oversee property maintenance, vendor management, and compliance with standards
- Implement Monarch policies and ensure compliance with regulations
- Support resident groups and communicate with regional leadership
- Develop and monitor strategic plan with Campus Executive Director
- Identify and develop community-building programs and support services for residents
- Monitor occupancy, admissions, waiting lists, and marketing to sustain occupancy
- Represent property in legal or regulatory contexts as needed
- Ensure high-quality maintenance, safety, and curb appeal of property
- Supervise activities and leisure/social program delivery
- Coordinate with regional administrators on problems and solutions
- Lead site staff in strategic plan execution
Key requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role or in assisted living
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations relevant to assisted living and landlord-tenant law
- Experience working with senior resident populations
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with large teams
- Resilience and openness to feedback
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with residents, staff, and families
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and active listening abilities
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English
