Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day transactional work and counsel on commercial contracts including SaaS and government arrangements
Advise on employment, corporate governance, and IP matters
Support government relations and regulatory considerations
Partner with C-suite and business leaders to align legal strategy with company goals
Review, summarize, and provide concise guidance to senior leaders

Key requirements

8+ years of legal experience, including in-house experience
California JD with admission to practice law
Strong background in commercial contracts and SaaS
Employment counseling experience
Government contracts experience
Ability to review complex matters and present clear guidance
Comfort with fast-paced startup environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
