As Lean Leader at APM Terminals, you will coach and embed Lean across HQ functions to support a broad transformation. You will apply Lean thinking to back-office environments, cultivate a Kaizen mindset, and drive tangible improvements in transactional processes. You will collaborate with Heads of Functions and regional centers to foster cross-functional performance and problem solving. You help empower leaders and teams to own change, delivering sustainable performance gains. This role offers exposure to a multinational setting and a comprehensive Lean program that shapes the business.

Responsibilities

Lead change and coach functional managers to deploy and improve the Lean Program at HQ
Drive a robust kaizen events program targeting tangible, sustainable improvements in back-office processes
Build a stable Daily Management structure across HQ functions and enable cross-functional performance management
Promote Lean behaviors and an A3-driven problem-solving culture among people leaders
Coach and train HQ teams on Lean awareness programs and specific Lean tools

Key requirements

Practical knowledge of common Lean tools and processes (A3, Kaizen, Daily Management, Visual Management, VSM, TPI, Standard Work, 5S, VOC, Value Selling, Hoshin Kanri)
Solid operations background with hands-on experience in terminal, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Experience facilitating leaders and management teams and driving ownership in transformation projects
Experience collaborating across cultures and functions
Ability to lead without authority and manage change
Self-motivated, strives for excellence
Lean and project management certifications from authoritative institutions are a plus
