As Lead UX Designer at Scandit, you shape user experiences across product areas, focusing on mobile apps and enterprise workflows. You’ll guide quality, mentor teammates, and stay hands-on to craft human-centered designs for diverse industries. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to translate complex capabilities into intuitive interfaces. You’ll own and evolve the design system and ensure visual alignment with the brand. This role combines craft leadership with cross-functional impact in a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities
- Lead UX design for one or more Scandit product areas, including mobile app experiences
- Translate complex capabilities into clear user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, tech leads, and QA to deliver on UX goals
- Plan and conduct user studies with researchers; run lightweight studies independently
- Own and evolve Scandit's product design system for cross-platform cohesion
- Guide the visual direction and ensure alignment with brand identity
Key requirements
- 8+ years as a UX Designer in SaaS, enterprise, or technology-focused environments
- Completed degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or equivalent professional experience
- End-to-end UX delivery experience from research to implementation for mobile products
- Proficiency in iOS and Android design patterns and accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with modern design tools (Figma), design systems, and component libraries (AI-assisted prototyping a plus)
- Hands-on cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Success
- Effective communication and collaborative mindset; open feedback culture
- Fluent in English and German
- Occasional travel for field research or onsite collaboration
