Responsibilities
- Provide technical, hands‑on leadership to the software engineering team and ensure architectural alignment
- Champion AI‑assisted coding and agentic development while establishing safety guardrails
- Design and evolve a cloud‑native, highly available service architecture (99.999% uptime)
- Build resilient, event‑driven systems using high‑throughput messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Architect event‑sourced services and CQRS models for auditable, replayable state
- Drive security by design, including encryption, key management, and secure handling of regulated data
- Drive code quality and establish validation guardrails for AI‑generated code
- Oversee containerization strategies and service orchestration
- Optimize secure, low‑latency service‑to‑service communication and data serialization
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure timely CI/CD delivery
Key requirements
- 5+ years building enterprise systems in at least one of Go, C++, Java, C# (Go preferred)
- 7+ years software engineering with at least 2 years in leadership
- Experience designing horizontally scalable, event‑driven architectures
- Practical experience with event sourcing/CQRS and deterministic state
- Production Kubernetes/Docker in live environments
- Strong understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, load balancing, replication
- Security engineering knowledge (TLS/mTLS, key management, encryption)
- RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/AsyncAPI experience
- Excellent English communication skills
