Responsibilities

Provide technical, hands‑on leadership to the software engineering team and ensure architectural alignment
Champion AI‑assisted coding and agentic development while establishing safety guardrails
Design and evolve a cloud‑native, highly available service architecture (99.999% uptime)
Build resilient, event‑driven systems using high‑throughput messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Architect event‑sourced services and CQRS models for auditable, replayable state
Drive security by design, including encryption, key management, and secure handling of regulated data
Drive code quality and establish validation guardrails for AI‑generated code
Oversee containerization strategies and service orchestration
Optimize secure, low‑latency service‑to‑service communication and data serialization
Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps to ensure timely CI/CD delivery

Key requirements

5+ years building enterprise systems in at least one of Go, C++, Java, C# (Go preferred)
7+ years software engineering with at least 2 years in leadership
Experience designing horizontally scalable, event‑driven architectures
Practical experience with event sourcing/CQRS and deterministic state
Production Kubernetes/Docker in live environments
Strong understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, load balancing, replication
Security engineering knowledge (TLS/mTLS, key management, encryption)
RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/AsyncAPI experience
Excellent English communication skills
