Experteer Overview
You will lead an AMS SAP support team to ensure stable, high-performing SAP environments while preparing for the S/4HANA RISE transformation. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to align SAP with evolving business needs and drive a smooth BAU and transition program. This role combines hands-on SAP expertise with technical leadership to shape the SAP landscape for future-ready operations. You’ll report to leadership and mentor teammates while coordinating with external vendors as needed. This is a fast-paced role where your impact scales across multiple locations.
Compensation / Benefits
- salary range: $116,660 - $145,800 per year

Responsibilities
- Lead the SAP AMS team to maintain stability, reliability, and performance of SAP systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues promptly to minimize business disruption
- Provide hands-on support for SAP modules (S/4HANA, ECC, FICO, MM, SD, etc.)
- Contribute to design and solution discussions for S/4HANA RISE transformation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure SAP aligns with business needs
- Mentor team members on technical and functional topics
- Coordinate with external SAP support vendors and internal teams
- Maintain high availability and proactively mitigate risks
- Support local rollout of S/4HANA RISE and ongoing post-implementation support
- Ensure SAP best practices and manage custom developments for BAU
- Provide regular leadership updates on issues and project readiness
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience, including at least 3 years in a support or lead role
- Strong expertise in one or more SAP modules (S/4HANA, ECC, FICO, MM, SD, etc.) with BAU experience
- Experience leading an SAP support team and managing day-to-day operations
- Hands-on SAP configuration, optimization, and issue resolution in production
- Familiarity with S/4HANA RISE transformation (plus)
- Ability to provide technical leadership and participate in design discussions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders
- Problem-solving under pressure; SAP certifications are a plus
