Senior Specialist / Project Manager

Experteer Overview

In this role you will build and sustain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying, nurturing, and qualifying prospective accounts for Air Products’ industrial gases offerings. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Technology to target high-potential opportunities and convert them into sales-ready leads. You’ll leverage databases and market intelligence to surface timely prospects and support cross-functional campaigns. This position blends research, outreach, and data-driven insight to drive growth and supplier advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and research target accounts using internal data, market intel, and industry publications
  • Partner with Sales to plan territory priorities and engagement strategies
  • Identify growth opportunities within assigned territories aligned to product line objectives
  • Monitor market signals to surface time-sensitive opportunities and plan early engagement
  • Initiate outbound and respond to inbound inquiries to uncover customer needs and decision-makers
  • Qualify leads based on criteria and transition them to Sales for development
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (SAP CRM, Salesforce) for all interactions
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Technology to design targeted campaigns and share feedback on lead quality

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 2-3 years in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles preferred
  • Effective communication and influencing skills; strong phone etiquette
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quick adoption of new tools to improve processes
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset with data/trend interpretation
  • Experience with CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce), SAP Qlik, or HubSpot
  • Familiarity with industrial or technical products a plus
