In this role you lead Naval HM&E design projects from the Thorofare office, guiding cross-disciplinary teams and ensuring adherence to design processes. You will develop analyses, produce engineering sketches, and address design issues to support government contracts. You collaborate with customer technical personnel and mentor design developers to deliver effective solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role with impact on project execution and quality.
Responsibilities
- Organize and assign design tasks per design process procedures
- Identify personnel requirements to support multi-discipline design development
- Provide instruction, guidance and leadership to design developers
- Review design requirements and establish analyses criteria
- Conduct and document analyses; make design recommendations with sketches
- Communicate with customer technical personnel and project team
- Support execution of design projects in a fast-paced environment
Key requirements
- US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent leadership and communications skills
- Design project execution experience, particularly in AutoCAD
- Preference for pe or EIT certification but not required
