Responsibilities
- Lead an agile, cross‑functional team of 7–10 engineers and developers
- Shape technical strategy for the Payments domain and module evolution
- Translate functional specs into high‑performance designs and tasks
- Promote technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Data Science to align on vision
- Hire, onboard, and develop talent; manage performance and goals
- Foster team identity, engagement, and healthy dynamics with the agile coach
- Mentor peers to grow technical and professional skills
Key requirements
- Ability to make fast, data‑driven decisions
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Customer value focus with high quality standards
- Experience in coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning
- Knowledge of Java and codebase expertise
- Experience with distributed, concurrent, and scalable systems
