In this role you serve as the trusted on-site IT expert supporting Amazon’s corporate workforce. You diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to keep employees productive and secure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive incident resolution, change management, and continuous improvement in a high-availability environment. This role offers a hands-on, impact-focused path within Amazon’s global IT Services team, emphasizing mentorship, learning, and delivering superior IT experiences.

Responsibilities

Deliver on-site, high-quality hands-on support for hardware, software, and systems; analyze logs to assess health
Provide on-call support for high-severity incidents and serve as escalation contact
Triage and escalate system or network outages to minimize downtime
Understand and execute change management in a high-availability setting
Collaborate with partner teams and vendors on projects to achieve operational excellence
Oversee IT asset inventories and lifecycle (deployment, liquidation)
Contribute to hiring, training, and mentoring of peers and new team members
Continuously expand skills and stay current with IT policies and technologies

Key requirements

2+ years of technical experience in a corporate environment supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux
2+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, OSI model, TCP/IP
2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high-availability environment
2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
Occasional travel as needed
Proficient in English and Italian
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent? (note: this line appears as a qualification)
