In this IT Procurement Professional role, you drive value by owning Lely’s IT sourcing from strategy to vendor management. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to secure sustainable, future-proof contracts. You work across business and IT to identify market opportunities and deliver measurable impact. This role sits at the intersection of innovation and governance, enabling sustainable dairy farming through effective procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing processes to maximize value creation
  • Develop sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage supplier selection, contracting, and vendor relationships
  • Proactively manage stakeholders from SMEs to senior management
  • Identify market developments and leverage innovative procurement solutions
  • Challenge and select suppliers to drive continuous improvement
  • Foster collaboration across international, multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to professionalization and innovation of the procurement function

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial, business, or related field
  • 5–10 years of IT procurement experience
  • NEVI 1 and/or NEVI 2 certification is a nice to have
  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Ownership, persuasiveness, and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Based in the Netherlands
