In this role you lead the company’s internal technology function, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure IT across strategy, architecture, systems, and governance. You shape the IT roadmap to enable long-term business goals and drive innovation and operational excellence. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement platforms, manage risk, and optimize IT delivery in a regulated, technology-driven environment. This is a high-impact leadership position in a growing fintech context.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company-wide IT strategy
- Shape the enterprise architecture roadmap; decide buy/build/partner
- Improve operational efficiency and competitive positioning through tech initiatives
- Oversee infrastructure design/maintenance including networks, servers, storage, cloud
- Lead application/platform/tool implementation and software development
- Establish cybersecurity policies, processes, and compliance with standards
- Lead IT team development, hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Manage vendor relationships, oversee partner development work and SLAs
- Implement IT governance frameworks, policies and KPIs for stability and change delivery
- Set and manage IT budget; identify cost optimization opportunities
Key requirements
- Proven track record leading IT in a transforming or scaling organisation
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of web architecture, Azure/AWS, distributed systems, and integration patterns
- Broad technical background across infrastructure, development, and cybersecurity
- Ability to build and execute IT strategy and deliver results in dynamic settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influence
- Strategic, hands-on, solution-focused mindset
- Strong project management and multi-initiative balancing abilities
