In this IT Auditor role, you will support the Iberian Peninsula IG Hub by assessing IT activities at BNP Paribas entities in Spain and Portugal. Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing IT audit assignments, understanding scope, technologies, and risks.
Assess activities, governance, and risk exposures; document findings and remediation needs.
Perform technical investigations across IT systems (databases, Linux/Windows, cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud, containerization).
Leverage scripting to automate analysis and improve efficiency.
Review IT solutions, analyze configurations, and identify potential weaknesses.
Recommend corrective actions and support deliverable production.
Present audit conclusions to senior management.
Review and challenge actions taken to remediate audit findings; ensure sustained effectiveness.
Conduct control testing to verify implemented actions; contribute to periodic IT risk assessments.
Keep up with regulatory changes and assist in IT audit planning using a risk-based approach.

Key requirements

Bachelor in Information Technology or related discipline; Master degree preferred
Professional qualification in audit (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP) is a plus
Minimum 3 years of experience in external/internal IT risk, audit or compliance in financial services
Fluent English; Spanish required or to be acquired; French or Portuguese a plus
