As an ISSO at GDIT, you safeguard federal cyber operations by maintaining system security accreditations and leading RMF activities. You will collaborate with Greenlight RMF teams to ensure timely authorization and risk management, handling security plans, contingency measures, and vulnerability responses. You’ll apply cloud security concepts and NIST-based controls to federal systems, delivering clear, compliant documentation and reports. Responsibilities

Develop and review security concepts of operations and security plans
Manage control assessments, POAMs, risk management and vulnerability management plans
Oversee RMF/A&A activities and maintain accreditations
Perform security scans and mitigations using tools like Nessus/WebInspect/AppDetective
Coordinate with Greenlight RMF and cloud security design teams
Prepare and present security deliverables and status updates

Key requirements

8+ years of related experience
Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Experience with Greenlight and Rev4 RMF process
Cloud security design, requirements analysis, and control implementation
Knowledge of ICD-503, FISMA, RMF/A&A, NIST SP 800-27/30/37/53/60/137/144/145, FIPS 199/200, CNSSI 1253
Experience with security scans (Nessus, WebInspect, AppDetective)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work onsite in Chantilly, VA
US Citizenship Required
