In this role you support Citi’s Investment Banking activities, helping clients raise funds and providing strategic advisory on mergers, acquisitions and other transactions. You work with senior CIB professionals on client deals, conduct financial analyses, and prepare materials for pitches and live transactions. You also help assess risk and ensure compliance across activities. This role offers exposure to capital markets work, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape client strategies at scale.

Responsibilities

Assist in executing Citi's Investment Banking business activities
Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data for client proposals and strategic plans
Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits
Conduct economic/financial research
Build complex financial models for valuation purposes
Evaluate company's financial performance against industry and market trends
Appropriately assess risk and ensure compliance and ethical conduct
Collaborate with senior officers and professionals on client transactions
Track industry trends and assist in business development
Draft financial analyses for M&A transactions

Key requirements

Experience in a similar position (ideally 2–5 years)
Knowledge and experience evaluating corporate transactions and structures
Experience creating financial analyses and drafting financial models for M&A
Strong problem solving and organizational skills
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with teams and track business development
Fluent in at least one Nordic language and English
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
