In this Investment Accounting Consultant role, you will support the Investment Controllership team in delivering credible financial reporting for alternative investments. You will partner across the organization to drive process improvements, rigorous analysis, and better coordination with Investment Management. You’ll help implement the company’s ledger, support monthly/quarterly/annual closes, and advance the control environment. This role offers impact through efficiency gains, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a dynamic, agile setting.

Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
Participate in the implementation of the company’s new ledger
Identify and implement accounting improvements to increase efficiency and business value
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with Investment Management and cross-functional partners
Challenge existing practices to strengthen controls and provide insights
Help improve quality, cycle times, and employee engagement within the team
Provide high-quality financial reporting and analysis for alternative investments

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related major
6+ years of related experience with financial reporting on alternative investments
Strong analytical skills with ability to narrate data
Experience analyzing new investments and guiding accounting/reporting
Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment and build cross-functional relationships
