In this ISSM role you guide the security of information systems within SAP environments for DoD agencies. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to implement RMF-based security programs, oversee JSIG authorization processes, and lead risk assessments to safeguard mission-critical assets. The position offers influence over security policy, training, incident response, and continuous monitoring across collateral, SCI, and SAP boundaries. You will work onsite with DoD customers and shape how security supports high-assurance operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security policy with focus on SAP infrastructures
Lead RMF-based security policy guidelines and JSIG authorization activities
Advise government customers on RMF assessments and authorization issues
Conduct risk assessments and provide written recommendations to DoD clients
Develop and maintain an Information Systems Security Program (ISSP)
Ensure security training for IAOs, admins, and cyber personnel
Prepare and review system assessment documents and authorization boundary controls
Maintain authorization documentation repository and implement a Configuration Control Board (CCB)
Develop incident response procedures and oversee security incident investigations
Coordinate external system approvals and periodic security posture assessments
Ensure CM for security-relevant changes and perform ongoing security testing
Assist in ISSO duties when needed and ensure lifecycle security requirements

Key requirements

7+ years of related experience
SAP experience required
Active TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain CI Poly
Bachelor's degree in related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
IAT Level 3 or IAM Level 3 certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CISA) or equivalent
