In this role you lead end-to-end Benchling implementations for biotech customers, from small startups to large Biopharma. You translate scientific workflows into configurations, train users, and ensure on-time, high-quality rollouts. You collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that accelerate research programs. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role at a fast-growing software company that values scientific depth and practical execution.

Responsibilities
- Manage initial rollouts for newBenchling customers and expansion projects
- Own implementation success from kickoff to go-live, leveraging PM skills, science know-how and product expertise
- Build and execute detailed project plans and coordinate deliverables for on-time, on-budget deployments
- Understand customers' scientific workflows and map Benchling capabilities to key business needs
- Lead requirements and design workshops, model data, configure applications, develop tests and guide UAT
- Train and onboard users; act as trusted advisor and promote Benchling Best Practices
- Document customer pain points and advocate for product changes internally
- Identify opportunities for account expansion with sales post go-live
Key requirements
- MS or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Biological Engineering or related field
- ≥2 years lab/R&D experience, ideally in antibody discovery, strain engineering or process development
- Software implementation experience, preferably SaaS
- Strong communication skills across scientists, IT leads, and executives
- Self-starter capable of thriving in a startup environment
- Curious, creative, tenacious; collaborative with customers and teammates
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Experience with Benchling is preferred but not required
