Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you will support a positive workplace culture by strengthening communication and employee relations within AISIN Texas. You will act as a resource for Team Members and management, help address workplace concerns, and ensure adherence to policies and employment practices. You will develop engagement initiatives and training to boost morale and alignment with company values. This position partners with HR leadership to promote compliance and effective leave programs, contributing to a respectful, high-performing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships to foster an open, respectful workplace
- Serve as a resource on policies, procedures, and HR-related matters
- Gather feedback and identify potential employee relations issues for timely resolution
- Meet with Team Members and management to discuss workplace concerns and policy questions
- Review employee relations matters and recommend actions aligned with policies and regulations
- Support early identification and prevention of workplace issues affecting morale and effectiveness
- Develop and implement communication activities and employee engagement events
- Promote understanding of company purpose, values, and expectations to support engagement
- Provide guidance on FMLA, LOA, STD, LTD, and other leave programs
- Develop and deliver training resources on employee relations and HR topics
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and policies
- Partner with HR leadership and other departments on employee relations initiatives
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management
Key requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in employee relations, Team Member relations, internal communications, HR, or related role
- Working knowledge of employee relations practices and applicable employment laws and regulations
- Working knowledge of FMLA, LOA, STD, LTD, and other leave programs
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, gather information, and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while supporting HR objectives
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and see matters through to resolution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work with diverse teams and understand company policies
