In this dual-role position, you drive HSE leadership while directly supporting daily production on the Oss site. You will strengthen the safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to operational performance. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager and help lead the site’s transition to Infor M3 ERP. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on floor presence to deliver safe, efficient manufacturing. Your impact spans safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve HSE policies and management systems in line with standards and local laws
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
- Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections, and internal audits
- Run HSE training, awareness campaigns and emergency preparedness activities
- Monitor HSE performance and drive corrective actions
- Promote proactive safety culture and accountability on site
- Serve as the HSE expert and primary contact for HSE matters
- Coordinate day-to-day production activities and provide practical on-floor support
- Ensure safe, efficient production in line with quality standards
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Logistics and other departments
- Support production planning, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Contribute to process optimization and operational excellence initiatives
- Assist with deployment and daily use of Infor M3 ERP during the site transition
Key requirements
- Proven HSE management experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Experience supporting or supervising production operations
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to work closely with production teams
- Experience leading operational improvement projects and driving change
- Good knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Infor M3 is a strong asset
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (food, feed, minerals, chemicals) is advantageous
- Solid understanding of HSE legislation, standards and best practices
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and ability to build cross-level relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strategic and operational balance
- Proactive, reliable, self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
