In this role you will lead the coordination of planned utility shutdowns at UW Medical Center-Montlake, partnering with hospital administration and facilities teams to minimize disruption to patient care. You will plan, schedule, and monitor shutdowns during construction and maintenance, ensuring clear communication with affected departments and reliable safety practices. The position sits within Operations & Maintenance and supports critical building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing key utilities. Responsibilities

Process, schedule and coordinate utility shutdown requests
Identify needs via field investigations and staff interviews
Notify affected parties of utility shutdown impacts
Document and report issues on project sites and maintenance concerns from construction
Respond to client concerns regarding utility shutdowns to maintain relationships and service quality

Key requirements

4-5 years minimum experience as a project engineer, project manager or in utility shutdowns for general contractor, hospital, or equivalent
Experience working within occupied healthcare facilities required
Strong Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing knowledge and experience required
