In this role you lead the racquets program at Marin Country Club, driving high-level tennis and pickleball instruction and engaging members across ages and abilities. You will shape clinics, socials, ladders, and competitive play while mentoring seasonal staff and coordinating with other departments to deliver seamless member experiences. You act as an ambassador for a welcoming, professional club culture and spearhead innovative programming to boost participation and membership engagement. This is a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your leadership shapes the community through racquet sports.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-level private and group instruction for tennis and pickleball
- Organize clinics, socials, mixers, ladders, and competitive play opportunities
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and mentoring seasonal staff
- Develop and implement innovative programming to drive participation and engagement
- Serve as club ambassador, fostering a welcoming and professional environment
- Collaborate with the Director of Racquets and other departments to ensure seamless member experiences
- Oversee racquets facilities, equipment, and stringing operations
Key requirements
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a private club, resort, or high-performance environment
- RSPA or PTR certification required; PPR (or equivalent) pickleball certification required
- High-level playing ability in tennis and pickleball
- Proven success in instruction, programming, and member engagement
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professionalism, service excellence, and continuous improvement
