In this role you lead a new UX Quality & Consumer Experience Assurance capability within Signify's Quality organization, embedding UX as a formal quality attribute across development lifecycles. You set the standards, govern UX readiness at gates, and ensure consumer experience is proven, not assumed. You will build a hands-on team, drive evidence-based decisions, and shape how UX quality anchors product value for consumers. This is a build-and-transform opportunity to elevate user-centric quality across portfolios. You will influence senior leadership and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Market teams to deliver measurable consumer impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own UX as a formal quality attribute and establish it as a discipline within the Consumer Business
  • Provide independent go/no-go input at development gates based on UX readiness and risk
  • Define and govern the UX assurance framework with standards for validation, usability testing, benchmarking, and evidence-based decisions
  • Embed UX quality in pre-development and product development lifecycles and create the Project UX Charter
  • Lead high-quality UX research across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods
  • Set up continuous in-market feedback loops and driving improvement from learnings
  • Build and lead a hands-on UX Quality & Assurance capability and drive cross-functional change
  • Act as a change agent to foster a user-centric, quality-driven mindset across teams

Key requirements

  • Excellent communication and storytelling for senior leadership influence
  • Extensive experience in UX research, UX validation, or experience quality in consumer products
  • Track record in building or scaling new capabilities
  • Experience embedding UX into product development lifecycles
  • Ability to operate with authority in quality, governance, or risk-based decisions
  • Deep expertise in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed UX research methods
  • Ability to translate insights into clear UX requirements and quality thresholds
  • Strong judgment, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
  • Clear, actionable communication to turn insights into action
