In this role you shape and lead the tax strategy for the Essential Products arm within a global animal nutrition and health business. You will safeguard the company’s tax position while navigating public scrutiny, reputational risk, and ethics. You will partner with senior leadership to enable compliant, value-driving growth and strong governance. You’ll influence cross-border decisions and drive tax policy across regions to support scalable, sustainable operations. This is a high-impact, globally distributed tax leadership role that combines strategy, policy, and execution.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the Essential tax strategy, safeguarding the company’s tax position amid scrutiny and ethical expectations
Optimize global tax and customs position across Essential products (indirect taxes, transfer pricing, supply chain, group financing, M&A, Pillar II)
Proactively identify, assess, and manage tax and customs risks and opportunities across business units, regions, and countries
Monitor and analyze global tax developments and translate regulatory changes into actionable implications for Essentials
Lead tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities worldwide, aligning local management and finance with tax policies
Act as the Essential products tax center of expertise, developing tax policies, raising tax awareness, and independently handling tax matters within Group Tax governance

Key requirements

Academic degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Extensive international tax experience, ideally in a multinational or complex global organization with group tax exposure
Broad knowledge of domestic and international tax matters across multiple jurisdictions
Fluency in business English; additional languages are advantageous
Experience in tax planning, transfer pricing, and governance in a global context
