Responsibilities
- Provide professional and disciplinary leadership of the Business IT department and its teams (AI Integration Management, ECM, PLM, Online Business)
- Strategically develop the Business IT landscape with a focus on digitalization and AI integration
- Oversee operation, quality, and continuous development of Business IT services
- Prioritize and manage projects, requirements, resources, and external partners
- Develop and implement a roadmap for AI-supported business solutions
- Collaborate with internal departments and international stakeholders to implement digital initiatives
Key requirements
- Several years of leadership experience in Business IT, enterprise applications, or digitalization
- Strong knowledge of business applications, system integration, and application lifecycle management
- Experience with specific tools: OpenText, PTC, Atlassian, TYPO3, Magento, Databricks (advantage)
- Experience in using artificial intelligence to optimize business processes
- Understanding of modern IT architectures, security and data protection requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent German and English skills
