As the Global VP of R&D, Respiratory for SIS, you will define the innovation roadmap and lead complex, multi-region product development initiatives. You’ll partner with BU leaders and cross-functional teams to build a competitive NPD portfolio and drive growth through disruptive respiratory technologies. You will engage with clinicians and external partners to ensure clinical relevance and accelerate commercialization. Responsibilities

Develop and execute a technology and product innovation strategy for the respiratory portfolio
Lead global R&D activities across regions and cross-functional teams
Oversee end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization, focusing on KPI delivery (quality, cost, investment, launch)
Identify disruptive technologies and emerging trends to guide internal and external innovation
Forge partnerships with clinicians, researchers, and technology partners to accelerate innovation
Provide strategic leadership for inorganic growth, including due diligence and integration of acquisitions
Align R&D investments with long-term business and market objectives with BU leadership
Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and innovation within R&D

Key requirements

BS Degree required
10+ years in medical device R&D or related healthcare tech fields with global innovation experience
Deep understanding of medical technology development, regulatory pathways, and commercialization
Proven success in managing complex, cross-functional programs in a global setting
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration across technical and business functions
Ability to translate strategic opportunities into executable innovation initiatives
Experience working with key opinion leaders to bring ideas to commercialization
Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving on-time, on-budget execution
Large program management experience with global teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency (Office 365/MS Office, SharePoint, Teams) and familiarity with SAP, JDE, Concur
Moderate international and domestic travel
