Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead global sourcing for ITT’s Connect & Control Technologies segment, aligning supplier strategy with business goals. You’ll manage a ~$300M spend, drive value through complex negotiations, and build resilient supplier networks across multiple markets. You’ll partner with engineering and manufacturing to unlock VAVE savings and reduce risk amid evolving economic conditions. This on-site position offers cross-functional impact with a focus on performance, scale, and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned categories to enable growth and mitigate risk
- Lead complex negotiations and provide global leadership for major OEM suppliers
- Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, service, and reliability to ensure best terms
- Oversee supplier selection and foster productive supplier relationships to drive value
- Identify and manage suppliers to secure optimal terms while maintaining operational performance (OTD, lead time, cost)
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and category managers to drive VAVE savings
- Partner with NPD teams for early supplier engagement to optimize quality and reduce risk in new launches
- Identify new materials, technologies, and supply chain capabilities to meet future needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain
- Min 10 years of global sourcing leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Global sourcing contract negotiation experience
- Experience with Engineer-to-Order, Low Volume/High Mix, and Configure-to-Order environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence executives
- Knowledge of Lean practices (Daily Management, Standard Work, Kaizen, Heijunka, Poka-yoke, Gemba)
- Experience with multiple commodities (precision metal machining, composites and plastics, injection molding, electronics and cables)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- English fluency; additional languages beneficial
