Responsibilities

Develop and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with growth and manufacturing objectives
Lead procurement activities across direct and select indirect categories, including automation and manufacturing technologies
Create category roadmaps balancing cost, quality, supply continuity, and sustainability
Drive supplier performance management with scorecards, QBRs, and corrective actions
Achieve cost reduction through strategic sourcing, negotiations, value engineering, and supplier consolidation
Identify and execute total cost of ownership improvements and design-to-value support with Engineering/Operations
Develop proactive supply risk mitigation, dual-sourcing, and regionalized sourcing
Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, corporate policies, and supplier quality standards
Collaborate with R&D and Engineering on NPI and supplier qualification for new technologies
Lead procurement excellence and digital transformation, improving spend visibility and analytics
Build and mentor a global procurement organization and manage change across the function
Develop succession plans and talent pipelines to support growth

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 10+ years in procurement/sourcing/supply chain; 3+ years leading procurement teams in manufacturing; experience managing global supplier networks; strong negotiation and contract management; track record of multi-million-dollar cost reductions; experience in highly regulated industries; strong analytical and financial acumen; experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
