In this role you drive strategic growth for DHL Aviation’s Air Capacity Sales by owning relationships with Global Key Accounts and leading revenue expansion. You partner with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing, services, and network solutions, delivering value to major accounts across regions. You will shape account strategies, respond to RFQs, and coordinate regional efforts to reduce air line haul costs. This is a senior, impact-focused role within a high-growth unit that backs DHL’s global logistics leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow revenue streams with current key accounts
  • Ensure post-sales satisfaction and long-term customer relationships
  • Develop strategies to increase sales, penetration, and profits in accounts
  • Create and implement comprehensive sales plans for territory and accounts
  • Facilitate information flow between key accounts and the company
  • Develop new business with key or named accounts on national and regional basis
  • Identify decision-makers and prioritize opportunities for accounts
  • Match DHL ACS services to customer needs to win new accounts
  • Coordinate with regional teams and sales/booking centers to align service delivery
  • Attend RFQ sessions, contract solicitations, and industry events
  • Complete required DHL training on schedule

Key requirements

  • BS/BA in related discipline or MS/MA with extensive experience
  • 10-15 years (BS/BA path) or 7-10 years (MS/MA path) in Airline Cargo Sales
  • Recognized subject matter expert in airline cargo sales
  • Experience with Global Key Accounts and advisory roles to management
