In this role you lead an international SAP FICO team, driving innovation and aligning IT support with business needs. You act as an internal consultant to optimize finance and controlling processes and establish KPI-driven risk management. You collaborate with global teams to standardize solutions and oversee global and regional rollouts with clear budgets and timelines. This position offers a chance to shape SAP FI/CO implementations in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You’ll work with diverse partners to enable scalable, compliant finance processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an international SAP FICO team in a dynamic environment
- Act as internal consultant to promote continuous improvement of finance and controlling processes
- Establish KPI systems, assess risks, and develop mitigation plans with business partners
- Collaborate with global teams to develop and implement standardized solutions
- Own technical trainings and manage global/regional rollouts with budget control and timelines
Key requirements
- Bachelor degree (Master/MBA advantageous)
- Several years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant
- Proven track record in leading international teams and full-cycle SAP rollouts
- Familiarity with change management, data protection, and process documentation tools such as ARIS
- Deep SAP FI/CO expertise including CO-PA, Product Costing, Internal Orders, Asset Accounting, and Banking
- Hands-on S/4HANA Financial Accounting experience (Parallel Ledger, Document Splitting, New Asset Accounting)
- Strong intercultural communication and ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel up to 30%
