Experteer Overview
In this role you will apply professional engineering expertise to plan, analyze and oversee facility programs and projects. You will work with managers, budget staff and engineering authorities to gain approvals for construction and renovations of real property. You’ll contribute to base development, operations and maintenance, and apply multidisciplinary engineering knowledge to improve infrastructure. This position offers exposure to high-impact military construction and modernization projects with cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with organizational managers, budget personnel, and engineering authorities to develop and approve facility programs/projects
- Perform construction management, program/base development, and O/M-related tasks
- Evaluate and recommend programs and development plans for new construction and improvements of facilities
- Utilize professional engineering knowledge to address multidisciplinary challenges in real property facilities
- Contribute to planning, design and oversight requirements for utility systems
Key requirements
- Possess specialized engineering experience at the required GS level or equivalent
- Ability to interpret and apply engineering principles and guidelines to solve problems
- Knowledge of budgeting, project planning, and contract-related processes
- Experience with evaluating programs and developing technical plans
- Educational background meeting ABET-aligned engineering standards
