In this role, you lead the end-to-end Fund Accounting service for a key client, ensuring accurate, timely and well-controlled deliverables. You’ll drive a culture of service excellence across global operations and own client outcomes, including risk, regulatory compliance, and issue resolution. You report to the Head of Fund Accounting and set the service, risk, and people strategy for the client, guiding transitions, launches, and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact, senior leadership position within a dynamic, globally connected delivery model.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery of all fund accounting services for the client with accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and control
Drive a service excellence culture across Fund Accounting and supporting global operations
Be the senior escalation point for material service issues, high-severity incidents, regulatory matters, and client complaints
Lead client change activity, transitions, fund launches, and process improvement initiatives
Lead senior client engagement, governance meetings, service reviews, and executive updates with clear follow-through
Provide timely reporting to governance committees to support oversight and decision-making
Manage budgets and resourcing in line with client commitments and corporate objectives
Ensure optimal technical setup of fund accounting services and elections across funds
Maintain strong control environment with clear authority, escalation procedures, and regulatory adherence
Develop and maintain a leadership pipeline and succession planning for the client team
Operate a robust oversight framework with timely management information to drive action and accountability
Champion a culture of Risk Excellence with open escalation and disciplined follow-through on issues
Embed ownership and high standards of conduct and decision-making across the team

Key requirements

10+ years of fund accounting and investment services experience
Proven senior leadership with accountability for large, strategic client relationships
Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive issue resolution
Experience operating in regulated environments with focus on risk management and regulatory outcomes
Deep knowledge of fund accounting products and processes (fixed income, derivatives, ETFs)
Strong strategic planning, operational execution, people leadership, and financial management capabilities
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and drive service improvements in a global delivery setting
Proven track record of building accountability and improving controls
