As a Full Spectrum Cyber Solutions Architect SME at GDIT, you shape cyber solutions across the system lifecycle. You’ll translate customer missions into secure architectures and guide engineering, testing, and implementation to meet stringent information assurance standards. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to advance offensive and defensive cyber capabilities and drive architecture artifacts for mission success. This role offers impact by aligning cybersecurity with operational goals in a fast-paced, federal context.

Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate end-to-end systems with a focus on cyber security and risk management
- Conduct software/systems engineering research to integrate security into new capabilities
- Assess potential vulnerabilities in cyberspace systems
- Advise on Full-Spectrum Cyber domains (OCO, DCO) and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards
- Lead testing, deployment, and maintenance of security infrastructure (hardware/software)
- Develop cybersecurity architectures and analyze related systems artifacts for future needs
- Shape operational cybersecurity data flows to support mission outcomes
- Create cybersecurity automations for offensive and defensive operations
- function as SME in proposal development processes and identify viable solutions
- Develop WBS and cost artifacts for proposed solutions
- Contribute to IRAD through architecture, design, and delivery activities
- Collaborate with programs to improve cybersecurity operations and capabilities
Key requirements
- 15+ years of related experience in systems engineering or cybersecurity domains
- U.S. Citizenship required
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (must currently possess) or ability to obtain
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in a relevant technical field
- Experience leading technical aspects of systems integration programs (≥5 years)
- Proven ability to develop technical data packages (system descriptions, ICDs, CONOPS, SDDs, OV-1s)
- Experience with Federal solicitation responses and proposal guidance
- Strong communication skills (executive-level interaction) and ability to work autonomously or in teams
- Experience with risk management frameworks (NIST) and at least two granted ATOs
- Experience in cyber security processes, SOC/Threat Hunting/IR, or vulnerability research (multiple clear criteria)
